My trip with Lea in Spain
Hi, everybody! Last summer, I went to Spain with a very good friend (Her name is Lea and we’ve been friends since the CP) and my grand-parents: Jeanine and Albert. We went to L’Escala a little town on the Mediterranean coast. We stayed in an ugly blue tower. Our room was very tiny but quite comfortable. If you want to know more about our fabulous adventure read this:
First, I’ll tell you about the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me. It was in the evening, I was with Lea just after our usual trampoline time; we decided to go on our favourite swing which was blue and red and located on the beach (Yes, I know … that sounds childish). We talked for a long time on the swing about all and nothing in particular. Neither of us wanted to come back home but we had to. So, we were walking back along the dike when I stumbled on a green plastic bag. (I’m sure you can imagine next thing…) I lost my balance and … I fell down, there at the middle of the dike. And as if it was not enough, I realized that I was lying flat on a dogpoo! Can you imagine? When I got up I saw that my clothes were completely stained it was horrible! Everybody was laughing at me even Lea who was choking in laughter. I felt so stupid! It was so ridiculous! (At that moment I just wanted to fall into oblivion!) . Fortunately, Lea didn’t have the time to take photos.
Now I’ll tell you about our day to Cada Ques: a little fishing port. At 7 A.M my grand-mother woke us shouting «”Stand-Up!!”» We got up with difficulty. (Of course, we were used to getting up at 11, so 7 is hard!) . We took a taxi to go to the commercial port of L’Escala where we will take a boat for go to Cada Ques. With Lea we slept on the boat because we were very tired! One hour later, we were in Cada Ques (that my grandmother called Pada Pes ). We went to the market where we bought a lot of things: a necklace, a T-shirt, a football shirt (for my brother)… ETC. After we ate delicious tapas in a little restaurant opposite the sea. We left my grandpa in a park and with my grandma and Lea we decided to go to the Dali house which was behind a hill. We walked for a very long time under the sun! And when we arrived to the place it was closed. Disappointed, we walked back. We were walking when I realized that we were lost. Fortunately, we found the way to the park. And with my grandpa we came back home … without trouble :)
We went every day to the swimming pool or to the beach. It was so fantastic. It’s the best holidays of my life! A lot of smiles, a lot of laughter, a lot of ice cream :)! Finally we missed our plane because my father made a mistake about the schedule … So; we flew back… 1 day later! We stayed in Barcelona for our last night in Spain …
